As an individual who has dealt with blindness throughout my own life, I have a desire to help other individuals suffering from vision loss, realize they can live a full, productive life.

I have raised a family and run a household through the many techniques that I have learned throughout my life. It is my desire to assist others to learn to cope with the adjustment to their loss by offering counseling services for them as individuals and also, in group settings.

I have a Masters Degree in individual and group counseling, and Undergraduate Degree in sociology and human services, and have taught at the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind for the past 25 years. I am also a community liaison for individuals with blindness and other disabilities.

My greatest desire is to help others who have disabilities to be able to access community services and to be able to live their lives to the best of their abilities.
